I can get the reader to work. Once I log in using my password my fingerprint sensor works fine. Here’s the web page I found. Did this solve your problem? Windows 10 Finger Print Sign-in Problems
In fact I made sure I deleted all other Authentec software. It worked fine about 4 month ago so I was wondering if one of Microsoft’s updates is causing this to happen. And Windows Sign-in Options will allow me to scan finger prints, but it never shows on the “Hello Windows” screen as a sign in option.
